On 7 February, the second and last day of the National Women’s Summit, the participants united on a Women’s Agenda and subsequently took an oath declaring their commitment to become part of the National NEW Leaders.

The women leaders pledged commitment to advance women’s transformative leadership and participation in politics and governance.

Rep. Liza L. Maza, WeGovern Board Chair concludes “with this network, we could expect that the unities reached in this summit will be pursued by an active core of women leaders committed to seeing genuine transformations in their communities.”
